[The San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park]

A museum and historical park has been established in dedication to The Battle of San Pasqual. San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park was established to honor the men who fought in the battle, both the Americans and the Californios. The park also sets the facts straight about events surrounding the battle, by showing both sides of the story. The park also tells the story of the Native Americans in valley at the time of the battle. The vistor Center/Museum serves as an information guide to the battle. The San Pasqual Battlefield Volunteers Association provides tours of the site, membership information and sells educational information on the battle and related subjects.

The San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park Vistors Center is open Friday through Sunday from 10:00am to 5:00pm. The park is closed Monday through Thursday. The park is located 8 miles east of Escondido on Highway 78. The park is about 2 miles beyond the Wild Animal Park.
