On March 18, 2002, Wells Fargo & Company celebrated its 150th anniversary. The company was the brain child of two innovative business men, Henry Wells and William Fargo. Wells and Fargo saw the need for their express services on the western frontier, with the discovery of gold at Sutter's Mill.
