Wells Fargo merged with Union Trust Company, which combined the west's oldest banking and the west's oldest trust services. They formed the Wells Fargo Bank & Union Trust Company.
October 1929 Stock Market Crash
Wells Fargo continued to pay regular dividends even through the Great Depression of the 1930s.
