Women's Place in War

Once the War began, the government took a new view of where American Women belonged. This set of posters referred to as the " Women's Place Posters" show American women demonstrating their skills in several different capacities. These pictures show women working in very "uncharacteristic" and very intersting jobs. As a result they proved to be very effective, because they glorified and glamorized war work.

This Poster shows a woman working as a chemical labratory assistant.
